Separation of editorial and advertising
Editorial decisions — what to publish, how to cover it, and which sources to consult — are made independently of advertising or sponsorship considerations. Advertisers and sponsors do not receive pre-publication review, do not select topics, and cannot influence editorial conclusions.
Sponsored content
When sponsored content appears on the Site, it is clearly labeled as such. Sponsored content is subject to the same accuracy standards as editorial content, but is authored or funded by a third party whose identity is disclosed.
Affiliate relationships
Where the Site contains links that may earn us a commission if you make a purchase, the affiliate relationship is disclosed at the point of the link and in an overall disclosure page. Affiliate relationships do not influence which products or categories we cover.
Corrections
We correct errors when we find them or when a reader points them out. See our Editorial Process for the full corrections policy.
Reader submissions
We welcome corrections and, occasionally, guest contributions from qualified authors. Guest content is reviewed against the same standards as staff-written content.
